I am Hannah Gibbs. I'm a senior, I'm a master electrician for Mr. Burns. And what that entails is, I take the lighting designers, lighting plot, so all of the lights that he wants on stage, and where they're pointed, and what they're going to do.
The lighting designer is Connor McVey. He's actually a professional designer who designs all around Georgia and Alabama. So a lot of our shows, I've been his assistant like designer before, and his [INAUDIBLE] a bunch of times. And I love working with him. Because every time he's here, I can be like, "Hey, this is something I want to learn this time. He's like, oh, cool, great. Let's do it." In the last like, three years being here, I've worked with a lot of professionals. I've hung lights for professional orchestras, professional chorus, and like theaters from around town. I got to work with the Alliance when they came in. I always really liked learning. I did not know anything about lighting in high school. I just kind of like did it. Then I came here and I told Jonathan Rollins that like that's what I normally did in high school, I went to focus on doing lighting still. And they just kind of threw me out there were like Gecko. So it's been mostly it's been a lot of like experimental learning, but also [INAUDIBLE]. Both like, are really good teachers and know a lot, really excited to like, learn all the skills I need, and develop the skills that I need to do this as a full time career. I think it's just really amazing. The fact that I came in as a freshman, I was like, this is something I kind of like, and I have no idea any of the information about it and now, I can be like, I'm confident enough in this that I think I can go do this for a job forever.
